This guide will walk you through setting up your Sears marketplace and creating new listings.

Connecting to the Sears Marketplace

Connecting to Sears is easy. There is one unique aspect. You need to add the Warehouse Number from your Sears account to each of your Solid Commerce Warehouses. The article below will show you how.

If you have not yet imported live listings from another marketplace, we recommend consulting with your Implementation Manager before connecting to Sears.

Importing Active Listings From Sears

Sears doesn't offer us the ability to automatically import live listings. To import your active listings, you will export them from your Sears admin panel and import them into Solid Commerce.

TASK 3: If you have live listings, import them into Solid Commerce. (approx. 15 mins)

Creating New Listings on Sears

Sears offers two different types of templates to use when creating new listings. We support both.

  1. Item Class Template
  2. Generic Template

TASK 4: Download one of Sears's templates. Populate it with a product and convert it to Solid Commerce format. Upload your file to Solid Commerce.

Updating Listings on Sears

Price and quantity updates are sent to all marketplaces automatically. If you want to update any other type of information on Sears, we must submit a Sears Item Class or Generic Template fully populated with all of the data.

We recommend that you save all of the files you upload to Solid Commerce. Saving your files makes updating Sears listings easier. Simply open your original file, change the data that needs revising, and reupload your file.
