Steps to Take Before Listing to Newegg
You need to perform the following steps before you can list to Newegg. If you have already completed them, you're ready to download the Excel template and use the table of fields below to populate it.
1) Connect to Newegg (see Connecting to the Newegg Marketplace) and create a Newegg Market List (see Creating a Market List).
2) Create your product in Solid Commerce and add it to inventory. See the Related Articles section for more information.
Three Product Identifiers You Can Use When Listing
To add yourself to listings that already exist in Newegg's catalog, provide one of these product identifiers.
|Product Identifier Type||Description and Listing Information|
|newegg item number
Newegg assigns a unique product code to each listing.
When listing products, we give the Newegg Item # priority over the UPC and ISBN. For example, if you provide both the Newegg Item #, and the UPC, we will ignore the UPC and send the Newegg Item # to Newegg.
Most people don't have the Newegg Item #s for their products, so they list via the UPC or ISBN instead.
If you are going to import active listings from Newegg, you will want to use the Newegg Item # during the import. See Importing Active Listings From the Newegg Marketplace.
|upc or isbn||
If you don't have the Newegg Item # for your products, you can provide Solid Commerce with the Universal Product Code (UPC).
If you are selling books, you provide us with the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) instead of the UPC.

|results||Leave this field blank. It will automatically populate if you upload the file using the Solid Commerce Excel Add-In Tool.|
|product custom sku||The SKU of your product.|
|warehouse id||The Warehouse ID of your product. The Warehouse ID is usually the same as the Product Custom SKU.|
Provide a upc if you plan to list to Newegg's catalog via UPC.
If you are using a different product identifier, you do not need to provide the UPC.
Provide an isbn if you plan to list to Newegg's catalog via ISBN.
If you are using a different product identifier, you do not need to provide the ISBN.
|newegg item number||
Provide a newegg item number if you plan to list to Newegg's catalog via Newegg Item #.
If you are using a different product identifier, you do not need to provide the Newegg Item #.
manufacturer is a required field if you are listing via a UPC or ISBN.
It is an optional field if you are listing using the Newegg Item #.
|newegg price exp||
This field controls the price of your item on Newegg.
You can enter a number without a currency symbol, or you can enter simple formulas with the word cost, such as cost*1.5 or cost+7. More complex formulas like cost*1.2+5 or ((cost*1.2)+5) work as well.
|market auto rule||We created a default rule to keep things simple. Enter: Newegg Default in this column.|
|list name||The name of your Newegg Market List in Solid Commerce.|
The name of the Warehouse(s) Solid Commerce should use as the inventory source for your listings.
|newegg qty exp||
Enter lq in this field if you want to make your entire inventory available on Newegg. You can also enter formulas. See Using the Listing Quantity Expression to Control the Quantities on Your Listings.
Enter Yes to turn the automation on. We will automatically push your product data to Newegg for listing. If you enter No, your product will not list until you turn the automation on.
If you do not populate a different condition (ex: refurbished), we will push "new"
||Description and Valid Values
If you do not include the newegg shipping column during your upload, we will automatically set the shipping setting to Default. Your listings will be using the shipping settings you established on Newegg to control your listing.
If you want to offer free shipping on some, or all, of your listings. Include the newegg shipping column in your upload file and populate it with a value of Free.
||The name of your product. This field is not required, but can be handy as a reference.|
