1) Go to the File menu in Excel -> Options.

2) In the Excel Options window -> Click Add-Ins.

3) If the Solid Commerce Excel Add-in Tool is in the list of Inactive Application Add-ins, select Disabled Items from the Manage drop-down menu at the bottom of the window. Click the Go button.

  • When I go to Com Add-Ins and check the SC Tool, I get a pop up that says the add in can only be connected by the administrator. I am the only user on my computer and I am the administrator. This happened once before and I don't remember what you guys had me do.

  • Thank you for contacting us David.

It sounds like the Add-In isn't recognizing that your user is the Admin. There are two things you can try:

    1. Close Excel. Launch Excel again by right clicking on the launcher and selecting Run as administrator.
    2. If that doesn't work, close Excel. Uninstall the Excel Add-In. Download the installer from your Solid Commerce account. Right click on the SolidCommerceExcelSetup.exe download and select Run as administrator. Continue with the installation.

Please let me know if either of these options work so that I can add them to the article. If those don't work, please contact our support team. They will be happy to assist you further.

    Best regards,
    Josh

  • Hello,
I'm having trouble after reinstalling the add-in (following instruction found in the article) and after a couple days the add-in falls off of the excel toolbar and errors out when trying to enable from File>options menu. A reinstall will fix the issue until a couple days go by, then same thing.
