Ship Now Shipping tool requires admin rights to open work-around

If you are on a machine that does not have admin rights and needs to run the Solid Commerce Ship-Now shipping tool,  this article will help create a working solution that will only require the administrator password one time.

Please have your IT admin complete the following:

(Note: a local admin password will be required, only on the first run, after that, any standard user will be able to run the program)

1. Right click an empty space on your desktop and click "New -> Shortcut"

2. Enter the following shortcut, replacing "YOURPC" and "ADMINUSER" with your Full computer name and local admin account name respectively:

C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /user:YOURPC\ADMINUSER /savecred "cmd /C """C:\Program Files (x86)\Solid Commerce\Solid Commerce Label Printing Client\SC.Shipping.PrintingAgent.exe"""

An example of the YOURPC and ADMINUSER filled out would look like this:

C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /user:SC-Ryan\Joshua /savecred "cmd /C """C:\Program Files (x86)\Solid Commerce\Solid Commerce Label Printing Client\SC.Shipping.PrintingAgent.exe"""

The local admin credentials are now securely stored in Windows credential manager - each subsequent open of the shortcut will no longer require the admin password.
