eBay items not importing

Confirm that "Import items from eBay " is set to on in the Martketplace Setup

Confirm the items have SKUs (custom labels) on eBay. 

Validate correctness of customer eBay settings (eBay user name, token and token expiration), neither new listing nor orders can be imported if it is not set correctly

You can check if the token has expired on eBay. Go to: Hover over user name on the top left corner >> Account Settings >> Site Preferences >> Third-party authorizations >> Check that "Eran Pick" is authorized

SC will not import items that were created 28 days back. Ref: JIRA Comment

Resetting the last sync date through the admin tool will re-start the import process. See: https://support.solidcommerce.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000487323-INTERNAL-USE-ONLY-The-Solid-Commerce-Admin-Tool-Account-Manager-Tool#section2

eBay orders are not importing

Confirm that "Import Orders from eBay" is check in the Marketplace connection.

The statuses of "Shipped" and "Paid and Shipped' do not import.

Validate correctness of customer eBay settings (eBay seller ID., token and token expiration), neither new listing nor orders can be imported if it is not set correctly

Uncombined auction orders that are partially paid will not import. Ref https://solidcommerce.atlassian.net/browse/SC-16561 

Check the order import date in the Marketplace settings.

Quantity is not updating

Confirm the qty expression is valid

At least one variant in the variation group must have qty above zero. Ref https://solidcommerce.atlassian.net/browse/SC-18350

The client may have reached the the limit of the amount that they are allowed to list. Ref. https://solidcommerce.atlassian.net/browse/SC-18119

Price is not updating

The client may have reached the the limit of the amount that they are allowed to list and/or update. Ref. https://solidcommerce.atlassian.net/browse/SC-20408 

Item Specifics Won't Save for Product Level Info

The reason this is happening is because the customer created a product attribute named the same as a stock field. For example "Model Number"

Adding Fitments via MPN does not work

If eBay provides fitment data for an MPN, make sure you are using the correct eBay category.

Also make sure that the Core attributes of Model Number is filled and Mapped to MPN  and Manufacture is mapped to Brand

Item is listed in the wrong category:

Check in the pencil icon if the eBay ePID imported from eBay. If it did, check the UPC on the product. 

You cannot add variants to an existing listing
 

To add child items:

1) Select only the child items that you want to add.

2) Click the List Products Now button.

Don’t:

• Select the parent item
• Use the Update Listings button

"USPS Parcel Select Ground" is "USPSEconomyParcel" in SC

Errors:

Error: Variation Specifics provided do not match with the variation specifics of the variations on the item. Missing name in the variation specifics or variation specifics set. Previous listing attempts failed. Please fix the problem and list the item manually.

Answer: 

Make sure that the items do not use the same attribute in the item specifics that is being used in the Variation Group

Make sure that all the children have the same eBay Variation Group

Error: "Failed to insert into listing queue. Error: Cannot interpret token '.' at position 5."

Answer:  Check your selling price and make sure its in the proper format

Error: " All Images are Invalid " 

Answer: make sure there are no invalid Main Image or Alternate images in child or parent skus.

Error:  " Failed getting image for eBay listing. " 

Answer: Image is very large and takes a long time to load. 

Error:

Error at ItemId = : Missing name in the variation specifics or variation specifics set.

Error at ItemId = : Duplicate VariationSpecifics trait value in the VariationSpecificsSet container.
Error at ItemId = : Duplicate name-value combination in variation specifics.

Answer: 

Make sure that you do not have duplicate names for your variants (example: two color "Red" if your dropdown variation is "Color")

Make sure that you have the same Variation Group for all your variants.

Make sure that you have consistent data in your attributes. For example: if you have "Size" as an attribute, make sure that you have consistent upper/lower case: SmallXS, SmallXXS  vs SmallXs, Smallxxs

Error:Lvis validation blocked. 

Answer: If you sell products that are hazardous, they could have shipping restrictions. Populate USPS Ground Advantage and remove Priority/Express and try again.

Error: System error. Unable to process your request.

Answer: You may be required to use eBay Business Policies for Payment, Return, and Shipping

Error: eBay Error: This P&A listing has a non-compliant domestic return policy. Please update the return window to 30-days (or more) and/or update return shipping cost payer to Seller, and then make another call

Parts & accessories return policy | Seller Center

If your Parts & Accessories listings meet the following criteria, you’ll be required to offer free 30 day returns: 

• The item is listed on eBay.com and located in the US
• The item is being shipped to a buyer in the US
• The price of the item is more than $10
• The item is new or new other 
• It’s a fixed-price Buy It Now listing

Answer: You must update your return policy to provide 30 day or more returns - with Shipping cost paid by Seller
