This article explains how to connect Solid Commerce to Stamps.com. After connecting, we will access your Stamps.com account when you print USPS labels through SolidShip.

Creating a Stamps.com Shipping Profile & Opening a Stamps.com Account
Creating a Shipping Profile in Solid Commerce allows you to connect to a Stamps.com account, and print Stamps.com labels through SolidShip.
1) In Solid Commerce, navigate to Admin -> Shipping Carriers (Legacy)
2) Ensure the New shipping profile drop-down is set to USPS. Click Add.
3) In the Add Profile pop-up window, enter a Profile Name, such as "Stamps.com".
4) Change the USPS Provider drop-down to Stamps.com.
5) If you would like Stamps.com to be your default Shipping Profile for printing USPS labels, check the Is Default box.
- If you have multiple USPS Shipping Profiles (multiple accounts for printing USPS postage), you can only select one profile as the default.
6) If you already have a Stamps.com account:
- Enter your Stamps.com User Name and Password.
- Click Save. Your Shipping Profile is ready to use.
7) If you need to open a Stamps.com account:
- Click the Register Stamps.com Account link.
- A new tab will load a page on Stamps.com's website in your browser. Click Get Started to sign up for an account.
- Follow the steps on Stamps.com.
- Return to the Solid Commerce Add Profile pop-up window and enter your new Stamps.com User Name and Password.
- Click Save. Your Shipping Profile is ready to use.

Purchasing Stamps.com Postage Through Solid Commerce
You can purchase postage directly through your Solid Commerce Stamps.com Shipping Profile.
1) Go to Admin -> Manage Shipping Carriers.
2) Hover over your Stamps.com profile. Click the pencil icon to launch the Edit Profile pop-up window.
3) In the Add to Balance field, enter the amount in dollars that you would like to purchase.
4) Click Purchase.
Additional Details About the Stamps.com Integration
- SolidShip automatically prints the correct type of label based on the shipping method you specified in SolidShip or your Shipping Rule. See Creating Shipping Rules to Automate Your Shipping for information about Shipping Rules.
- Package insurance is not currently available on Stamps.com shipments.
- Custom label references cannot be added to Stamps.com labels.
