Premium Feature: Order Automation Rules

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new premium feature - Order Automation Rules.

The Order Automation Rules feature enables you to automate your daily tasks, allowing for greater efficiency in your business operations. With the ability to create various automation rules, you can streamline your workflow and achieve increased productivity.

Overview

You can find Order Automation Rules under Admin >> Order Automation Rules >> Order Automation Rules Tab

Users can create new automation rules by clicking on the "+New Order Automation Rule" button.

On the left side of the screen, you will see three rule components, on the right side you can enter the Rule Name and desciption:
"Add Trigger"
"Add Condition"
"Add Action"

The process for creating a rule is straightforward and follows a simple logic:

WHEN: Something happens (Trigger)

IF (and): Specific condition(s) are met (optional) (Condition)

THEN: Take action. (Action)

 

As of the current version of Order Automation Rules, there are two triggers available:

  1. Order Created
  2. Order Updated

In the Conditions section, the current version of Order Automation Rules includes the following options:

  1. ASIN
  2. Buyer Notes
  3. Buyer is B2B Reseller
  4. Delivery Status
  5. Inventory Source
  6. Is Amazon Prime Order
  7. Is Domestic Order
  8. Is Ebay GDP Order
  9. Manufacturer
  10. Model Number
  11. Order Has Buyer Notes
  12. Order Has Gift Message
  13. Order Has Kit
  14. Order Has Wrap instructions
  15. Order Items Number
  16. Order Status
  17. Order Total
  18. Product Name
  19. SKU
  20. Sales Channel
  21. Ship To City
  22. Ship To Contact Company
  23. Ship To Contact Name
  24. Ship To Country
  25. Ship To Email
  26. Ship To Phone Number
  27. Ship To State
  28. Ship To Street Line 1
  29. Ship To Street Line 2

The Action section includes the following options:

  1. Buyer Notes
  2. Gift Warp Fee

  10. Ship By Date

  23. Send Email (which will open up an email form that you can fill)

Based on these available conditions and actions, you can create various combinations of rules to suit your specific needs. It's worth noting that you can add multiple conditions and actions to the same rule, allowing for greater customization and flexibility in your automation process.

How to create a rule sample

Scenario: We need to ship eBay next business day orders with UPS Express shipping method

When new order is created in channels manager

If marketplace is eBay

   And 

   Shipping Method = UPS Express 

Then: Ship by date Next business day

 

Trigger: Order Created

Select first Condition: Sales channel equals to eBay United States 

Add second condition: Shipping method equals to UPS Express 

 

Add Action: Ship by date next business day 

To finish click CREATE at the top left

After that your rule is created. 

Once done, all new orders from eBay with UPS express field ship by date will be changed to have a Ship By Date value of "Next Business Day".
